The photos were taken under long-wave UV light (365 nm), highlighting the calcite’s vibrant fluorescence. Galenite (Galena) is a naturally occurring mineral composed primarily of lead sulfide (PbS). It is recognized by its metallic silver-gray color and cubic crystal structure, and it is the most important ore of lead.
